📖 Questions from Around the Old Forest 🚩
4 months ago – Wed, Jun 17, 2026 at 01:23:10 PM

As more creatures arrive in the Old Forest, we've noticed some familiar questions popping up around campfires, burrows, workshops, and taverns.

Pull up a stump, pour yourself a mug of acorn tea, and let's get some answers…

🎁 How do I receive my Reservation and Early Backer Gifts?
Both rewards will automatically be added to any qualifying physical tier pledge. Once the campaign concludes, we'll review all backers and confirm everyone who qualifies for these rewards. If you have questions about your reservation, send us an email at [email protected] and we'll be happy to investigate.

📖 What does the "Name in the Book" reward include?
As a thank you for your legendary support, this reward allows your name to be printed in the supporter credits section of every Mouseborn book. Long after the adventure begins, your name will remain woven into the history of the Old Forest for future generations of creatures to discover.

🪙 Can I pledge for Mouseborn using installments?
Yes! Backers with orders over $150 will see a Pay Over Time option during checkout. After the campaign successfully funds and concludes, the remaining balance will be split into four monthly payments.

🎒 I need to change my pledge level. How do I do that?
Click "Manage My Pledge," and then "Edit Pledge." From there, you can adjust your tier, add additional support for add-ons, or prepare for future shipping costs.

🐾 How do I know what creature I am?
You probably already know in your heart... or if you don't, try taking our quiz to see who you connect with the most! The creature chooses the adventurer, or something like that.

🐭 Which creature is the best?
A dangerous question. The name of the project is “Mouseborn”, but we wouldn’t choose favorites like that… Mice, moles, rats, frogs, salamanders, and birds all bring something unique to the world of Mouseborn. Each has their own strengths, stories, and place within the Old Forest.

For additional questions, be sure to visit our FAQ.

If you don't see your answer there, leave a comment below or send us an email at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

After all, even the greatest adventures begin with a question.

🐭 A Day in the Mouse Kingdom 🌲
4 months ago – Tue, Jun 16, 2026 at 08:20:01 AM

Life in the Mouse Kingdom begins before sunrise.

Long before the birds fill the canopy with song, lanterns glow inside hollow logs along the forest floor as families prepare for another day in the Old Forest.

Gatherers shoulder their packs, farmers inspect their seed stores, messengers hurry along woodland paths carrying news between settlements, and somewhere in the distance, the Moss Guardians begin their morning patrol.

For many mice, life is not glamorous. It’s built on routine, community, and the understanding that every paw has a role to play.

A baker's work matters just as much as a warrior's. A scout returning safely from the frontier is celebrated just as loudly as a noble arriving from the capital.

That is how life has always been in the Kingdom.

At least, that's what the elders tell us.

📜 The Law of Mossback

Every mouse grows up hearing stories of Old Mossback, the wise turtle who united the peoples of the forest.

His teachings remain woven into everyday life.

Traditions are carefully preserved, and many believe that maintaining those traditions is what keeps the forest in balance.

Others wonder if the world is changing too quickly for old answers alone, but most mice are wise enough not to have that conversation too loudly.

🌾 Turning of the Seasons

Life in the Mouse Kingdom revolves around the turning of the seasons.

Spring brings planting and rebuilding. Summer fills the roads with merchants and travelers. Autumn is a race to prepare for winter, and winter itself is endured through careful planning, full granaries, and strong communities.

Every mouse understands the importance of preparing for the seasons ahead.

Perhaps that is why so many have grown uneasy in recent moons.

The harvests have not felt quite the same, the rivers run strangely, and the stories arriving from distant corners of the Kingdom grow more troubling by the day.

⚔️ The Guardians of the Realm

Though the Mouse Kingdom values peace, peace must still be protected.

Mouse Guard elites stand ready to defend their communities whenever danger appears. However, they rarely stand alone.

Every mouse learns the importance of cooperation. A lone mouse may be vulnerable, but a united community can weather almost any storm.

🌲 Whispers in the Forest

Lately, the Old Forest has felt different.

The elders speak in hushed voices.

And when the wind blows from the north, many mice find themselves wondering what tomorrow will bring.

Still, life goes on. The fields must be tended, the roads must be maintained, and the stories must be passed to the next generation.

Because that is what mice do. They endure, they help one another, and they remember the lessons of Mossback.

And no matter how dark the season becomes, they continue building a future beneath the canopy of the Old Forest together as one.

🗺️ Where Should We Visit Next?

We've spent some time among the mice of the Kingdom, but the Old Forest is home to many peoples.

Whose story would you like to hear next?

🎲 Every Adventure Begins with a Roll... ⚔️
4 months ago – Mon, Jun 15, 2026 at 12:27:08 PM

Every adventure begins with a roll.

A brave leap across a rushing stream, a desperate stand against danger, or a chance encounter with something you were absolutely underprepared to meet.

With the toss of a die, your story could change forever.

That's why we wanted our dice sets to feel like they really belonged in the paws, claws, and wings of the heroes who inspired them.

Today, we're taking a closer look at each of the character-inspired dice of Mouseborn!

🐸 Frog Paladin Dice

Steadfast. Noble. Courageous.

Inspired by the Frog Paladin, this set reflects the unwavering determination of a hero who stands between danger and those who cannot defend themselves.

🐭 Mouse Fighter Dice

Bold and battle-ready.

The Mouse Fighter never backs down from a challenge, and this dice set captures the fearless spirit of a warrior willing to stand their ground when it matters most.

🐦 Songbird Featherlight Dice

Swift. Graceful. Adventurous.

Inspired by the daring Songbird Featherlight, these dice embody the freedom of soaring above the canopy and exploring the unknown.

🐀 Rat Skirmisher Dice

Quick thinking and endlessly resourceful.

The Rat Skirmisher survives through grit, determination, and clever tactics, and these dice celebrate that resilient spirit.

🦡 Mole Rootseer Dice

Wise and deeply connected to the world beneath the forest floor.

The Mole Rootseer looks beyond what others can see, drawing strength from ancient roots and hidden knowledge.

🦎 Salamander Mage Dice

Vibrant, fiery, and full of alchemical wonder.

Inspired by the Salamander Mage, this set channels the spark of experimentation and the power of magical discovery.

🌰 Acorn Druid Dice

A special set inspired by one of Mouseborn's most beloved woodland heroes.

The Acorn Druid carries the wisdom of the forest itself, nurturing life wherever their journey takes them.

Whether you're drawn to the courage of the Frog Paladin, the wisdom of the Mole Rootseer, or the fiery determination of the Salamander Mage, there's a set ready for your next journey through the Old Forest.

Which dice will you roll?

🌲 The Forest Continues to Grow 🌲

While we've been admiring the heroes of Mouseborn and the dice inspired by their adventures, the campaign itself has been forging ahead.

More than 750 heroes have now joined the journey, helping Mouseborn surpass $108,000 raised!

The next quest still awaits:
📜 Goal: $125,000
🐾 What new creature might emerge from beneath the canopy?

🦗 $100,000 Reached! New Quest Unlocked. 📜
4 months ago – Thu, Jun 11, 2026 at 05:44:19 AM

That $100,000 quest proved no challenge at all for heroes like you.

Thanks to your incredible support, a brand-new Mouseborn adventure has been unlocked!

🦗 New Adventure Story Unlocked: Awaken the Cicada Kingdom 🦗

Every seventh summer, the roots shake and hum, heralding the return of the sleeping king and his people.

Can you hear the whispers of the sleeping choir?

Most inhabitants of the woodlands believe cicadas to be nothing more than a fairy tale.

Children grow up hearing stories of a civilization sleeping beneath the roots of the forest, but few take them seriously. Mice live short lives relative to the cicadas' emergence cycles, and the idea that an entire kingdom could slumber for hundreds of years sounds impossible.

The party will encounter the eccentric Mad Mole Merrick, a disgraced former scholar and supposed expert on forgotten woodland history who claims to know the way to the Cicada Kingdom.

Most view him as a conspiracy theorist.

The party may discover he knows more than he should.

⏳ New Quest Unlocked ⏳

📜 Goal: $125,000
🐾 Help Choose a New Character Species

We've heard the whispers echoing about what other creatures might call the Old Forest home.

Will it be a woodland favorite? A creature from the marshes? Something unexpected lurking beneath the canopy?

Reach $125,000 and you'll help decide who joins the adventure.

The forest is growing, heroes. Let's see who answers the call next.
