To celebrate reaching $125,000, a brand-new creature species will be added to Mouseborn and it's up to you to decide what species it will be.
To determine the winner, we're holding a creature tournament. Different species will face off in a series of community votes, and the winners will advance through the bracket until only one remains standing.

The showdown between Chipmunks and Weasels to see who will advance to the next round is coming to a close, with Weasels currently holding a strong lead!
But while that battle continues, it's time for our next matchup...
Round 2: Night Flyers 🌙
When the sun sets and the forest grows quiet, some creatures are only just beginning their day.
Will the skies belong to silent wings gliding through the darkness or nimble acrobats soaring between the treetops?

Masters of the night sky, bats navigate the darkness with uncanny precision and make their homes in caves, hollow trees, and forgotten ruins.

Daring gliders of the canopy, flying squirrels leap from branch to branch and can cross incredible distances without ever touching the forest floor.

Thanks to your incredible support, we've unlocked another addition to the world of Mouseborn!
🐾 New Creature Species Unlocked: Vote for Your Favorite 🐾
As a gift to all backers, a brand-new creature species will be added to the Mouseborn base book, bringing a new friend, foe, ally, rival, adventurer, or mystery to the Old Forest.
We've heard countless requests for additional creatures throughout the campaign, but only one can join the forest next, and we want that choice to come straight from the community.
Will it be a woodland favorite? A creature from the marshes? Something unexpected hiding beneath the canopy?
To decide, we'll be holding a creature tournament! Over the next few updates, different species will face off in a series of community votes. The winners will advance through the bracket until only one remains standing.

A traveler pushes open a tavern door. The fire crackles. A few strangers sit scattered around the room. Somewhere nearby, a job, a mystery, or a terrible idea is waiting to be discovered.Nestled inside the hollowed trunk of an ancient tree stump sits The Gnawed Apple, a gathering place for adventurers, explorers, and creatures seeking fortune beyond the safety of their burrows.
Tonight, however, something feels different.
The tavern is unusually quiet. A curfew has settled over the woodland. Rumors spread faster than spilled berry juice. An army is gathering, and whispers claim travelers are already heading north in search of the Rat King.
A pair of frogs linger at the bar, trying not to draw attention to themselves. A weary mole serves drinks behind the counter. Across the room, a weasel and a young mouse wait patiently at a secluded table.
They're waiting for someone.
